Starting Early

Personally I think it is a good idea to start planning as early as possible. In fact we were already having ideas about this year's club as the last one was running. Even if you are not going to do anything much until a lot nearer the time of the club it is a good idea to at least have started the planning so that ideas can waft around your mind and when you see stuff relating to the theme you might choose you get get them over the year and not in a frantic last minute rush.

We started planning a month or so ago with a meal for people who are likely to be involved this year and were involved last year. It was a chance to review what we had done and look ahead to what we would like to do next year. And also an opportunity to get together as a team and get to know each other.
